A Disney Scrapbook

CLICK ON ANY OF THE PICTURES FOR AN ENLARGED VIEW!

This scrapbook is a departure from my regular style, but was so fun to make! It has been about 6 years since we took the kids to Disney, but this scrapbook brought all of my memories rushing right back. Waiting in line for that one all important autograph, Space Mountain, and even the outdated, but classic, It's A Small World. I don't think that there is anything more magical for kids (and the parents that get to see the joy on their faces) than Disney World or Land. With this in mind, I put together an album that I would want to use myself. It's interactive, but not so much so that those little fingers that want to relive their precious memories would have trouble pulling out the inserts. I also put two memoribilia pockets on the inside front and back covers. These are perfect places to slip your tickets or any other momento's that you don't want to attach to pages. I also have made the inserts with a combination of vertical and horizontal picture placement. ALL of the embellisments have been attached so that you can slip your pictures underneath (I would recommend that you attach the embellishments completely after you add your pictures). I 'fussy cut' around some of the graphics on the adorable papers so that they wouldn't be covered up by your pictures, the pictures can be slipped underneath! That is always one of my pet peeves with beautiful papers...the design gets covered up once pictures are added and some of the beauty of the album gets lost...but not with this one!!

I always make my albums with the highest quality materials (papers, stickers and chipboard from EK Success - Cardstock from Stampin' UP!) and adhesives that are AF/LF. The album is made with a hinge system so that it will easily close, even with the addition of all of your photos!  The spine is reinforced with Duck tape for added stability and durability. The front cover can also be customized with a year (example 2013) in black chipboard numbers (Thickers by American Crafts)  There are more than 25 inserts, many of them with designer paper on the reverse side for additional picture placement. Ten of the inserts were left blank on the back so that you can record your memories with journaling (a white Signo Gel Pen works really well on black cardstock!). There are rhinestones, ribbons, die cuts, and other beautiful embellishments that will enhance your photographs.

With all of these features, I believe that this is an amazing Disney scrapbook that will help you to remember your vacation of a lifetime for years to come!

Shabby Cottage Chic

I am so excited about my latest mini-album! It is very shabby chic, with a cottage feel to it. The pages are distressed and inked and it was so much fun to make! I took WAY more time than I should have making it, but I enjoyed the process so much! I loved making the paper flowers on the cover, which I die-cut and hand shaped and then inked and glittered them. I also made the ribbon and twill rosettes! I just learned how to do this, and am now buying ribbon like a crazy person and making baggies full of flowers. It's so easy to do and there are tons of YouTube videos showing the process. Here are the TONS of pictures I took showing multiple views. Click on the pictures if you want to see it close up:
